Tecate Overview

The city of Tecate is located in the center of the State of Baja California between Tijuana and Mexicali. It is easily accessible from Tecate, California and major U.S. and Mexico border cities in the region.

Getting There
From Los Angeles, I-5 South until you reach San Diego County, then take I-94 East for 35 miles, exit to Highway 188 South and follow the signs to Tecate. From San Diego take I-94E for 35 miles, then go south on Highway 188.

From Tijuana, it takes approximately 30 minutes via the East Toll Road.

From Mexicali City, go west on Federal Highway #2. The trip is approximately 1 hour 15 min.
